    All 19 of these easy pecan recipes have shortcuts in them to make them even easier for you! From sweet Southern desserts to savory game day snacks, brunch treats to thoughtful holiday food gifts. I developed and tested these simple pecan recipes so they will turn out perfect every time you make them!

    Pecans are literally a 'taste of the South'. We stir them in, sprinkle them on, roast them, chop them and candy them in so many different ways!

    We'll start with Roasted Pecans as the first recipe in case you need to roast them for other recipes. No air fryer? No worries. I always try to give alternative cooking methods and a list of variations in each recipe. Now, let's get to cookin'!

    My shortcuts in this Maple Pecan Coffee Cake takes away the intimidation of making a homemade yeast bread recipe! I also share my trick how to let the dough rise in half the typical time! If you can't find the package of roll mix, I also share the ingredients to make it from scratch.

    I adapted this shortcut recipe from the 1969 20th Annual Pillsbury Bake-Off bookazine. By changing out the artificial maple extract and some of the granulated sugar with real maple syrup and I use a dough hook to replace kneading by hand and prefer softened butter to melted. Oh, and I added more pecans because we Southerners can never have too many pecans! The shortcut is the hot roll mix.
